Making the most of our time together

When my first daughter was born, something in me changed.
Like many parents, I wanted to give her a childhood filled with curiosity, wonder, and memories. Not perfect days. Just the simple kind of family moments that stay with you.
But I kept running into the same problem.
Finding something meaningful to do as a family was harder than it should have been.
There were plenty of tools, but everything felt scattered. Search results. Maps. Blogs. Social posts. Reviews. Screenshots. Texts from friends. I could spend more time looking for an idea than actually enjoying the day with my family.
The spark behind WalkonCloud came from my daughter’s questions:
“Daddy, can we walk on clouds?”
“Can I touch the clouds?”
“Can I fly like a bird?”
They were little questions, but they stayed with me.
I realized I couldn’t give her clouds to walk on. But I could help find the kinds of places that made her feel that same wonder.
That became the heart of WalkonCloud.
WalkonCloud is a place for families to find nearby experiences, save ideas they love, build simple plans, and get inspired by other families.
For a while, I worked on WalkonCloud at night and on weekends while working as a product designer at Google.
It took time, but I wanted to build it carefully because this was not just another app idea to me. It was something I wished existed for my own family.
WalkonCloud is still early. We’re building carefully, listening closely, and starting with families in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, and Virginia.
From my family to yours, I hope WalkonCloud helps you find more days worth remembering.
